Elementary April Week 3 - Jesus Helps Me Believe

Hello SCC Kids and families,

I hope all of you had a wonderful Easter celebrating the resurrection of Jesus. Jesus is alive! This week we are learning about what happened right after Easter, when Jesus went to visit his friends, the disciples. One disciple wasn't there the first time so he had a hard time believing Jesus was really alive. He said he needed to see him and the marks from the cross to know it was real. Jesus helped Thomas to believe and learn that seeing is not always believing. Jesus helps all of us believe and teaches us about faith. Sometimes it can be hard to have faith, especially during difficult times, but Jesus is always with us and there are lots of ways for us to believe. You can pray, read the bible and ask the people you trust around you that Jesus has placed in your life. If you are ever having questions of faith and believing you can always reach out to me or one of our church pastors. We love praying for you and being there for you. I miss all of you so much!
