Elementary May Week 2 - God Gives Us The Holy Spirit

Hello SCC Kids and Families!

I hope you are all doing well and enjoying the warm weather. There have been so many changes in the world lately and sometimes we can feel confused, sad or even scared. I have some great news though! God sent the Holy Spirit to help comfort us and guide us. This week we will be learning about how the Holy Spirit first appeared to the disciples, why God sent the Holy Spirit after Jesus ascended into Heaven, and how the Holy Spirit is with us and can help us today. I know when I'm not sure what to do, I pray and ask the Holy Spirit to guide me, I have also felt great comfort from the Holy Spirit during hard times.
