Elementary May Week 4 - God Protects Our Hearts and Minds

Hello SCC Kids and families,

It's summer!!! Many of you are wrapping up the end of a very different school year. First of all, I want to say, Great Job!!!! You did it! Parents and kids worked hard to finish up this school year and I'm so proud of you. The end of the school year looked a little different and you might feel sad about that. You might be worried about what your summer will look like. Maybe you're feeling worried about a loved one getting sick. Guess what! This week we are learning  about how God protects our hearts when we are sad, and God protects our minds when we are worried. All of these feelings are normal. We learn that we can "Rejoice! I will say it again, Rejoice!" because we have Jesus. We also learn that we "can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." Philippians 4:13 Isn't that great news? If you or anyone you know is going through a tough time you can reach out to us church leaders. We are always here for you, anytime! We love you all so much and God loves you too.
