Elementary May Week 5 - I Can Help Others When I Pray

Hi SCC Kids and families!

Can you believe it's the final week of May?! That means this is our final week in our 5 week series, GO.  This week we are learning about how we can help others when we pray. We know it's good to pray for others, but why do we do it? Does it really help them? Guess what, it does! This week we read Acts 12 about Peter's friends who gathered together to pray when he was in jail. God heard their prayers and sent an angel to help Peter! We can help others who are hurt, sad, sick or in need by praying for them. 

With this being the final week of May, that also means I have a prize to give out! Join me and some of your leaders for a special SCC Kids Zoom Party this Friday at 6pm. Let us know what you've been up to, what you have learned from our GO series, and say this month's memory verse (Matthew 5:16) and you'll be entered into a drawing for a $20 fandango gift card! Have your parents keep an eye out for a zoom invite from me.
