Elementary June Week 3 - I Can Take Risks For God

Hello SCC Kids and Families,

A special shout out and Happy Father's Day to all of our awesome, Godly dads! We love you!

This week in Kids we are talking about the story of Rahab. She was a woman in Jericho who helped hide spies sent by Joshua to keep them safe. She took a big risk but was blessed because she knew she was doing it for God. We can take risks for God because we can trust God to help us. We also talk about Paul, who took a risk for God by sharing the good news of Jesus. This is a great week to talk about the risks you can take for God as a family. What are some things you could do that would please God? Remember, risks are exciting and scary but always make sure you are being safe and following the rules! It's a great idea to pray about the risks you are considering. I am always available to pray with you and for you. Give me a call, text or email!
