Preschool November Week 3 - I Am Confident Because God Leads Me

Hello SCC Pre and Kinder friends!

I hope you are having an amazing week! Have you ever played follow the leader? You know, someone is the leader and you follow what they do. You trust them to show you what to do and lead you on a safe path, right? Who are some real life leaders? If you go to school, who is the leader of your class? Your teacher! Maybe you have a line leader who helps you get to where you need to go. It's important to have a good leader to guide you and keep you safe. What if you had to go somewhere in the dark? What would your leader need to help guide you? A light! Well guess what, God is our leader and our light! God's word, the bible shows us what to do and where we should go. Even if it is a dark or scary time, we know that God's word can keep us on a safe path and we can be confident. Confident means you believe you can do something well! We can be confident about where we are going in life because God leads us! How does reading the Bible help you feel confident? In our Psalm today we hear that God's word is like a light for us. We also hear that God's word is, "sweeter than honey." That means it's the best! I agree, I love reading my Bible, do you?
