Preschool January Week 5 - We Can Trust God With Our Gifts

Hello SCC Preschool and Kinder friends!

I hope everyone has had a great start to 2021. It is the final week of January and the final week of our Unboxed series. We have been learning about gift all month. It is so fun to receive a gift, but how does it feel to give a gift? I love giving gifts. It makes me feel happy to make others feel happy! Did you know that God uses the gifts we give others? He does! He uses those gifts to do even greater things! We can trust God with our gifts. Have you ever dropped a stone into water? What happens to the water? A little circle appears, and then another bigger circle and another bigger circle and so on! That is how God uses our gifts to others. Now, maybe you're thinking, "how can giving someone a gift create circles?" Gifts can be other things besides presents. It can be showing someone kindness, helping someone out, sharing with them. The list goes on. When we show others love, kindness and generosity, God takes those gifts and makes them grow. We show kindness to someone, that makes them feel good, they show kindness to someone else, the "circles" continue and spread across the world! By using our gifts and trusting God with them, we can make a real difference in the world!

So, my little gift givers, go out there and share some kindness with the world. You can start with your family right in your own home! I hope you all have a wonderful and kind week. I love you and God loves you too!
