Elementary March Week 4 - I Am Included In God's Plans

 Hello SCC Kids!

Here we are, the last week of March! Easter is just a week away! This week is the final week of our series, Blueprints. All month long we have been learning about God's plans for us. In Mark 11, we learn the story of Jesus entering Jerusalem the week before Easter. Jesus and the disciples were there to celebrate Passover, but Jesus knew God had a much bigger and more important plan. God wanted all of us to be included in His plans. Jesus included many people in the plan the day he entered Jerusalem. As he rode in on the donkey, people laid clothes and branches on the ground in from of him and shouted, "Hosanna!" Hosanna means, save us. They celebrated and shouted, "Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord!" It was a truly magnificent welcoming for a King! Jesus knew God included others in His plan to save us all and that God loves us so much! God had us in mind when Jesus followed His plans. We are included in God's plans!

We are included in God's plans everyday. Let's take some time to reflect and thank God. Thank you God for your perfect plans. Thank you God for building your plans on Love. Thank you Jesus for saying yes and following God's plans. Thank you God for including us in your plans.
